Eligibility
- ●Contestants must be students in secondary education during the 2025/26 school year.
- ●Each official delegation may register up to four contestants and two leaders.
- ●Contestants must be born on or after July 1, 2006.
Format
- ●Two contest days, each 5 hours long, with 3 problems per day.
- ●Tasks are scored from 0 to 100 points each. Maximum total: 600 points.
- ●Allowed languages: C++17 (g++), Python 3 (CPython).
Conduct
- ●No communication with anyone outside the contest hall during a round.
- ●Personal electronics, notes, and source code are forbidden in the hall.
- ●Tasks, scoring and final ranking are governed by the Scientific Committee.
Awards
- ●Medals are awarded approximately 1:2:3 (gold : silver : bronze) of the contestants.
- ●An honourable mention is given to any contestant scoring full marks on at least one task.
- ●The top-scoring contestant receives the BOI 2026 absolute winner trophy.
